Tour Details
Departing around 1:00 PM, you’ll be picked up in a comfortable open safari vehicle, ideal for photography and panoramic viewing. Within 15 minutes, we’ll enter Kruger National Park through either the Phabeni Gate or Paul Kruger Gate, depending on wildlife activity and road conditions.
Led by an experienced and FGASA-accredited guide, you’ll explore Kruger’s diverse ecosystems in search of lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalos, as well as zebras, giraffes, impalas, hippos, and abundant birdlife. The late afternoon light offers excellent opportunities for photography and often sees increased wildlife activity as the heat of the day begins to fade.
As the sun sets over the African bush, you’ll experience the magic of Kruger’s wilderness at golden hour-an ideal time for spotting elusive predators and soaking in the park’s natural beauty. After a 5- to 6-hour adventure, you’ll return to Tembo Guest Lodge around 6:00 – 7:00 PM, with a heart full of memories
